We are a United Methodist
Dinner Church in Wiesbaden / Mainz.
We meet once a month on a Saturday evening in Kostheim (Wiesbaden/Mainz) to share a common meal and celebrate a simple, inclusive liturgy.
We’re following the example of the earliest Christians, who met on Saturday evening to share a sacred community meal they called the Agape.
Blessing. Breaking bread. Word and song. Sharing. Laughter. Community.

If you are able, bring something to contribute to the table!
It can be a salad, a side dish, a dessert, something you grab at the supermarket… It doesn’t have to be a lot, and it doesn’t have to be fancy. It’s part of the experience of sharing and contributing.
WHERE

(EMK Mainz/Wiesbaden). Anton-Hehn-Straße 30, 55246 Wiesbaden
Statement of Welcome
Believer, skeptic, not-quite-sure-what-you-believe?
All totally fine. Just come as you are.
Our fellowship is radically inclusive. All are welcome here.
In Christ, we have been reconciled to God and made one family.
You are welcome at this table.
What to expect at Dinner Church
We gather and greet each other by name. If you have a dish to share, you can add it to the buffet. We come together at God's welcoming table, light candles, pray, and ask for God's blessing on the meal.
After eating, a community member shares a reading and a short reflection. We then share our own thoughts and stories. The evening concludes with prayer and sharing God's blessing.
By breaking bread together, strangers become friends.
And we discover that Christ has been in our midst.
